As I sat working at my desk all by my own
suddenly I realized that I was all alone!
Though it was the time for everyone to have food
It looked like that all had left me for good
The setting looked like a cemetery
and the silence added to the mystery.
It looked as though, all of my many friend
had turned into some ghost or fiend!!
Well, I wished that I could just break free
and jump around or perch myself on a tree.
Without having anyone to ask or about me, care
I would have made all of them, of me, beware!!
Suddenly the phone rang and ended my dream
that had run into many a page and ream.
Though this was an experience that I had on my own
I thought that I write this and tickle everyone’s funny bone!!
