We are, from the rest, aloof and are termed as a SINGLE
as even if we've friends from the other gender to jingle
hearts to anyone of them would never ever belong
though for their companionship we may always long...
It looks that whenever our "friends" come our way
they tend to keep us at a distance and at bay.
Since they are all of different kinds and range
it makes us confused and think whats strange.
For family and other pals, we are seen as an object of fun
as they would mock at us, that has not come our turn.
Elder's just would loose sleep thinking how we would manage
if we decide, to remain, someone life long like a sage!!
Yet even if we think that we can continue to enjoy our life
it silently worries us that we wouldnt have anyone while in strife.
Also, one may begin to think and ponder for a slightest while
that why cant be there anyone in this world worth our smile.
Still, our lives, on a daily basis, we continue to lead
and to what others say, we dont think to pay heed.
If this is what we are to lead is written in our fate
it wont change even if time in future is too late.
