TIME AND TIDE WAITS FOR NONE...

An athlete,for many years,may toil and train
so that chances of getting a medal, dont go vain.
But at the right time, if he doesnt start at the gun
his hopes would evaporate as time and tide waits for none.








Similarly, a student who is supposed to sit and study
ceases to be serious and efforts turn to be foolhardy.
One day he'll be made to repent for what all he had as fun
as by then he would realize that time and tide waits for none.


The 'baby' for a farmer lies in his harvest
on which the 3 M's, he would have invest(ed).
But the right, if he doesnt do, at the rising sun
belatedly he would know that time and tide waits for none.

In everyone's hand, lies the present
so that in future, we wont have to lament.
As a phenomenon, it is something that is on a run
as once gone would mean that time and tide waits for none.
