...ALAS GONE ARE THOSE DAYS..

Those days, in diffrent environments, we grew
yet hardly we thought or ever even knew
as in the future,we never thought to gaze
and repent, alas gone are those days.

Some had happiness, some endured strife
that was destined to be a part of their life.
Yet inevitably when we had to go our ways
we would say,alas gone are those days.

Nothing we knew, while we were children
that adulthood would be a lot uncertain.
But that was in everyone's case
and yet, alas gone are those days.

Day by day, increases the competition
and what is out to bring, is the apprehension.
Never did any, envisage that would be a rat race
that we now repent, alas gone are those days.
