..........AS GOOD AS DEAD..

The day i got to know someone like you
I knew that you were among the few
that if i didnt place you in my head
surely i would be as good as dead.

Among the gals of your town, you are the queen
which i can say, even though, you i havent seen.
Your palm, if someone had years ago read
without your presence, i would be as good as dead.

Among the people i knew my mind,i f it were to choose
it was someone whom,at any cost, i didnt want to loose.
You dont know how all this while, my life, i've lead
as without your memory,i would have been good as dead.

Fate always from each other kept us away
and never made us come across each others way.
Yet, your name, has been written on my forehead
as otherwise, i would have been as good as dead.

The time will come when i'll think to make you mine
and together we could have our share of cloud nine.
Lot of things, even now, are still, between us, unsaid
for which i want to live and not be good as dead.
