ODE TO GOD..

Is it true that there is someone above
who,whatever we maybe, showers his love?
and that he has with him, some sort of a magical wand
that he can turn so that it happens as decided before hand?

He is supposed to be everyone's guardian
who is supposed to help when its uncertain
especially by dispelling what all exists as bad
and wiping our tear when we are feeling low and sad.

But, at times, when one has such a fall
that too from a level that looked so tall
one begins to wonder whether he is in existence
and whether he cannot see what is the turbulence.

That moment may be long-lasting or brief
but may shake what one has their belief
that may make one not to care for another or a beast
and instead may think to turn into an atheist.

Few may still resort to a prayer
and look heavenwards for an answer
as at times, mind ceases to remain in one place
and how to endure, one is unsure, this phase.

Oh God, if you are truly a guardian out there in heaven
then why is that you delay, our lives to enliven?
Though in our hearts, you'll always reside
why is that, we feel, that you've left our side?

Well now, that life is like that off a blind
yet your name would be kept in the mind
and all i hope is that will be there some satisfaction
if i can pass through this uncertain phase with your benediction.
