........EVER SINCE I GOT TO KNOW YOU

I just dont have an idea or word to say
of how i came across you, one day.
It looks like,you, for a long time i knew
as comfort was there ever since i got to know you.

From quite a long time and not so many years ago
different people, providence, to me, was out to show.
But a sweet person, like you, was to me, something new
and hence i felt good ever since i got to know you.

To each other, it happened, we got ourselves attach (ed)
and maybe thought, we might never ever get detach (ed).
Some sort of, i reckon, you fostered an invincible glue
you were an addiction of sorts ever since i got to know you.

But like always, that inevitable day, i used to dread
when from each other's lives, we had to move ahead.
It was hard for me to accept anyone else in leu
as i remembered the day ever since i got to know you.
