ODE TO THE RAIN-A CHILD's POINT OF VIEW ;)

Iam running out of my patience

as isnt coming, wat am out to sense.

I wish that i didnt, this long, to wait

because every minute, i feel, it is late.

God, all that to you, now i pray

is that i want to go out and play

as even though whenver it pours the rain

it also gives mom a lot of pain!!

Hope all the neighbours decide to send

outside, one an dall, who are my friend.

At the same time, it'll be really cool

if it rains bad and shuts down the school!!

Wish i cease to,soon, feeling bore

and see what the rain has in store.

As i know that a punishment i'll get

from mom, drenched till the bone,i go wet!!

SUNDAY MORNING AT A BACHELOR'S FLAT :)

As one lazy morning, i was out to wake
immediately, my notepad, thought i take
as the setting was so perfect what i saw
that immediately struck me a lot of idea.

Outside could be heard, being played, a slow number
and yet my people were busy in their own slumber.
This was not just another morning in the weekday
as it was for them, finally their, SUNDAY.

As i sat, i could hear our feathered friends make merry
which suddenly made me aware and feel a little scary
as i might have to end upto, something not just glean
and later end up, the mess to sit and clean.

Slowly and steadily, i went and saw at the window
if outside had something new, to me, show.
As usual, i could see at the depot, a lot of bus
and as expected, people were creating a ruckus.

The balcony reminded of the empty clothesline
as i remembered, was pending, the laundry of mine.
As i registered to do that chore and prayed in my mind
that the BMCwallah's, by providing water, would be kind.

As on eof my roomie let out a loud yawn
i realized, was about to start his dawn.
Yet the four others blissfully continued their sleep
which i avoided so that at night, i dont count sheep.

Someone else's mobile , yonder, was out to ring
and the ringtone was making me, alongside, sing.
As on the phone, another friend, got busy
i could see the rest, by the talk, cease to feel cozy.

As i sat finally and thought to flip the newspaper
my ideas, i was simulatenously, out to garner.
I also wondered what the day had in store
and hoped that i wouldnt end up feeling bore.

WHY IS THAT....?? THOUGHTS IN ISOLATION..

Why is that, even though, i've my share of success
that about what to do, am sometimes very clueless??

Why is that i think that my friends are trying to keep me away
even though, in my mind, memories always stay??

Why is that i have to think hard for a while
just for me to have, on myface, a smile??

Why is that people seldom think that am serious
especially about me, when i want them to be curious??

Why is that, at times, i have to be an introvert
that too when, to none, am not at all curt??

Why is that i always have to fight a loosing battle
especially whenever i thought to certain things settle??

Why is that, is coming out, what all am out to think
as if there is nothing me, today to ink??

HAFTA VASOOL….

Yesterday for a friend, as I had to wait
though I knew it was night and was late
yet I knew that I was to get an opportunity
to see something that was a part of my city.

Though its not something which I am taking pride
I felt that the experience I take it in my stride
and as about it, am out to write and tell
so that later ignorance doesn’t ring a bell.

Later, as my friend came and on or way, we went
in my mind, I thought, for agreeing, I may’ve to repent.
By thinking I would be a dude who would be cool
I felt I must see what happens during a hafta vasool.

Perhaps none would have deemed it to be sane
to have gone to such a place that had a narrow lane.
All through, during my travel, what all I heard and saw
was something I knew for sure, not desired by the law.

At last, finally, I was shown the ‘kopcha’
where we knew that we would get the ‘rokdaa’.
By stretching out near the door, the left hand
it was known that we would get what we demand.

Before any others would have any sort of clue
or we came across any, as we call here, ‘mamu’
we collected our stuff and did the ‘kalti’
as our presence there, we didn’t want others to see.

Later, as I traveled back home in the train
I thought that this experience shouldn’t go in vain.
In brief, about all this, I thought, I write
as slowly came the dawn from the night.

..........AS GOOD AS DEAD..

The day i got to know someone like you
I knew that you were among the few
that if i didnt place you in my head
surely i would be as good as dead.

Among the gals of your town, you are the queen
which i can say, even though, you i havent seen.
Your palm, if someone had years ago read
without your presence, i would be as good as dead.

Among the people i knew my mind,i f it were to choose
it was someone whom,at any cost, i didnt want to loose.
You dont know how all this while, my life, i've lead
as without your memory,i would have been good as dead.

Fate always from each other kept us away
and never made us come across each others way.
Yet, your name, has been written on my forehead
as otherwise, i would have been as good as dead.

The time will come when i'll think to make you mine
and together we could have our share of cloud nine.
Lot of things, even now, are still, between us, unsaid
for which i want to live and not be good as dead.
